Cleaner air for Europe: the project Clean Air shows solutions and potentials in its new film
Brussels, 4 June 2013 – A better air quality in Europe is possible. Particle filters, low-emission zones or more fundamental change in mobility behaviour – viable solutions are known. However, cities and municipalities still hesitate to act. The project Clean Air uses best practice models to show untapped potentials and solutions to improve air quality.
Starting today at this year’s Green Week conference, we present our new animated short film for the first time. It points measures to improve air quality in a clear and simple way and offers solutions to tackle air pollution.
Coordinated by VCD, the German organisation for sustainable mobility, nine European NGOs fight for a better air quality in cities by setting up best practice and bringing people together.
