The German Environmental aid e.V. (Deutsche Umwelthilfe e.V., DUH)

Despite existing guidelines and the enforceable “right to clean air” exceedances of limit values still endanger our health, our environment and our climate. Within the Clean Air Project the German Environmental Aid spread legal know-how to European environmental and consumer protection organizations and campaign for a better implementation of the Air Quality Framework Directive. The collected knowledge and the experiences in other EU Member States are compiled on a website. Every six weeks the DUH organizes specialist talks to develop new strategies for air quality control. In this context the DUH conducts surveys, that compile the experiences with Low Emission Zones (LEZ) and other measures.
